For over 20 years, the HBCU Faculty Development Network has provided an avenue for faculty, administrators, and program support personnel to make presentations and to highlight effective teaching and learning as well as those programs that support the academic function at institutions of higher education.
We cordially invite you to participate in the 23rd Annual HBCU Faculty Development Network Conference to be held in New Orleans, Louisiana October 20-22, 2016.
This year's conference theme is
"Transforming the Teaching and Learning Environment"
The conference offers three full days of workshops, concurrent sessions, round-table discussions, plenary sessions, and a poster session. The conference provides an excellent opportunity for participants to network and exchange ideas proven successful in teaching and learning, network with colleagues, and develop practical skills that can be put to immediate use upon return to their respective institutions. Each will take away from this conference, useful information that works and will assist you in enhancing your current role. We invite faculty, administrators, and personnel of all areas that support the academic program to submit proposals for consideration at this year's conference that support our theme of "Transforming the Teaching and Learning Environment." Conference proposals should be in line with one of the strands.
