HBCU Faculty Development Network Membership

The Network offers three levels of memberships: Individual, Institutional and Institutional Plus. All levels are open to academic professionals who support the mission of the HBCU Faculty Development Network. As a member, you will be part of a energetic and growing network of professionals working in academia throughout the nation. Membership in the Network represents your commitment to faculty professional development and ensures access to professional development opportunities for faculty.

All membership fees are due annually.

All membership fees must be paid electronically, click here to become a member today.

INDIVIDUAL MEMBERSHIP - $95.00
Faculty and administration at all levels of academia re eligible for participation as an individual member.

This membership level includes:

  • Discounted conference registration fee if paid before September 1
  • Ability to apply for travel grants when available
  • Opportunity to publish in a peer reviewed journal when available
  • Awards and recognition
  • Members only online directory
  • Members only discussion board

INSTITUTIONAL MEMBERSHIP - $270.00
This membership level affords the opportunity for substantive involvement in the mission and programs of the Faculty Development Network by academic institutions.  Eligible institutions include both public and private colleges and universities. 

This membership includes:

  • Membership benefits for three (3) individuals from the same institution
  • Discounted conference registration if paid before September 1
  • Eligibility to apply for travel grants when available
  • Opportunity to publish in a peer reviewed scholarly journal when available
  • Awards and recognition
  • Access to members only online directory
  • Access to members only discussion board
  • Quarter page add in conference program
  • Discounted exhibit fee
  • Recognition on the Network website

INSTITUTIONAL MEMBERSHIP PLUS- $450.00
This membership level affords the opportunity for substantive involvement int he mission and programs of the HBCU Faculty Development Network by academic institutions.  Eligible institutions include both private colleges and universities. 

This membership includes:

  • Membership benefits for five (5) individuals from the same institution
  • Discounted conference registration if paid before September 1
  • Eligibility to apply for travel grants when available
  • Opportunity to publish in a peer reviewed scholarly journal when available
  • Awards and recognition
  • Access to members only online directory
  • Access to members only discussion board
  • Half page add in conference program
  • Discounted exhibit fee
  • Recognition on the Network website
